LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed the provincial administration to immediately evaluate the losses caused by rains and floods in different areas of the province for the payment of compensation to the affectees.
 He directed Board of Revenue to immediately start survey of damage to life and property due to floods in Punjab and also issued instructions for accelerating relief activities in the calamity-hit areas. He said that relief work and survey for providing assistance to the affected persons should continue simultaneously, says a handout issued here on Friday.
