ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister of AJK and President of People’s Muslim League Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry on Wednesday said India is not serious in dialogue process with Pakistan. “India is staging the dialogue drama with Pakistan as on the one side it asks for holding talks and on the other massive human rights violations are being committed by brutal Indian forces in occupied Kashmir,” he said while talking to the journalists here at his residence.
He said India has increased the number of its army personnel in the occupied valley to suppress the indigenous movement of Kashmiris, who are struggling for their legitimate right of self-determination. Barrister Sultan criticised AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider for issuing a statement in favour of India.
He underlined the need for highlighting the longstanding issue of Kashmir between India and Pakistan at international fora in more effective manner. He also urged the international community to play its due role in resolution of the lingering issue to ensure durable peace and prosperity in South Asia.
